There are no levels in Kundalini Yoga. Classes include people who have never practiced to people who have practiced for decades and everyone in between. The practice will go as deep as the student needs or desires to take it. There are modifications for every kriya. If you have a set of lungs, that is all you need for a Kundalini yoga class. Pregnant women can safely practice along with people who have physical challenges.
Amy Galle, KYT
I am a student, practitioner, and teacher of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. I was trained at Golden Bridge, Santa Monica, by Gurmukh and Guru Shabad. Mantra & pranayam are two attributes from Kundalini Yoga that inspire my practice most. This practice has given me passion to understand myself thoroughly. In Kundalini Yoga, we work with specific postures (Asana), sound current (Mantra), breath pattern (Pranayam), and mudra (hand postures) as a way to engage in self awareness. When movement, sound current, breath, and mudra come together this is referred to as a 'Kriya'. Every Kundalini Yoga class consists of a complete Kriya.
In today’s world there are many situations, images, objects, and substances that can distract us from our inner compass, our inner knowing and truth. Usually these situations & things are temporary and don’t offer a person lasting support. I’ve found along with many other practitioners & teachers that when we connect to our body through Kundalini Yoga a relationship with our inner truth begins to develop. We call this Sat (truth) Nam (identity). Connecting to my inner truth has given me profound support & deep confidence and has encouraged me to live with integrity.

My primary focus is treating illnesses that are medically complex, chronic, and resistant to standard care.
In order to achieve this I continually engage in advanced clinical training in the mother text of Acupuncture, the HuángDìNèiJīng 黃帝內經, with world renowned scholar and clinician, Edward Neal, MD.
I am dedicated first and foremost to patient health and care. Everything I do is guided by this principle. My current work is constructing clinical tools for Neijing practitioners.
